Your privacy matters.

Information you give us. The showing request form on our contact page asks for your first and last name, email address, phone number, the property you are interested in, the number of bedrooms you need, your preferred move-in date, and any message you choose to write.

That form does not submit to a server we operate. It opens a draft message in your own email application, addressed to showings@williamsvilleproperties.com, with the details you entered already filled in. Nothing reaches us until you send it, and when you do we receive it as an ordinary email. If you call or email us directly instead, we collect whatever you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically. Our analytics and advertising tags record the pages you view, the site or advertisement that referred you, your approximate location, your browser and device type, and an IP address. Our web host also keeps standard server logs.

• To respond to your leasing enquiries and to book and confirm showings.
• To follow up with you about availability, pricing, and the application process.
• To measure which pages and campaigns bring prospective tenants to the Site.
• To operate and improve the Site, and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about whether you are offered a unit.

This Site loads Google Tag Manager, which in turn runs Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking, and the Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram advertising. These set cookies in your browser and may be used to show you our advertising elsewhere on the web.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser opt-out add-on, adjust Meta advertising in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, and block or clear cookies through your browser. Blocking them does not affect your ability to browse listings or contact us.

Our typefaces are served from our own domain rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page sends no font request to Google.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to answer you and to operate the Site, including with our leasing and maintenance team, Google (analytics and advertising), Meta (advertising), our web host and email provider, and government or law enforcement authorities where the law requires it.

Google and Meta process information outside Canada, principally in the United States, where it may be accessible to foreign courts and authorities under the laws of that country.

We keep enquiry emails only as long as we need them to answer your question, process an application, or satisfy a legal, tax, or accounting requirement, and then delete them. Analytics and advertising data is held by Google and Meta under their own retention settings.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorised access, and this Site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

Ordinary email is not an encrypted channel. Please do not send us government identification, banking details, credit reports, or other sensitive documents by email. Ask us and we will arrange a secure way to receive them.

You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our use of it at any time. Write to info@williamsvilleproperties.com and we will respond within the timeframe PIPEDA requires, normally 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Some of the buildings we manage lease through their own websites, and we link to our Facebook and Instagram pages. Once you leave this Site, the operator of the site you land on handles your information under its own privacy practices, not ours, and we are not responsible for them. Review their policies before submitting anything.

We may update this policy as the Site or our practices change. Changes take effect when posted here, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised.
